My daughter is getting married, and we are selecting the music in the church. Most id sorted, but we still need one for when the deed has been done
and people are exiting the church.
I suggested 'Another one bites the dust' by Queen, but all I got for my thoughtfulness was a severe scowl
Anyone got any recommendations?
Fleetwood Mac - The Chain
Serious answer - Bill Withers; lovely day.
You could modify this:

This was actually used!!!***
'Here we go again' by Whitesnake?
Maybe better for a second marriage!!

wedding march by mandelshon (sp).

So far, at the weddings we have attended this year, the bride and groom have had...
Mnum mum by the muppets
Star wars theme
....
we went to a wedding last week where they had a guy playing "over the rainbow" on the uke
^ one of my favourite songs there Liam.
I love the Izz version, had it in my favourites for years and it always gets me. Animals we gotta get outta this place.
^^^ That version of Over the Rainbow was our first dance. A good choice if I may say so.
As it's a church, I'd suggest God is Dead by Black Sabbath

We went with this, the disapproving looks from some of the older guests was worth the expense of getting married:
We had this... sounds awesome by a string quartet!

We Gotta Get out of This Place The Animals
D.I.V.O.R.C.E Tammy wynnete (I think it would be funny!!)
Here's a version of Over the rainbow as a medley with Wonderful world. Same guy - Big Iz from Hawaii.

Times like this you need a like button.
If you want something more traditional, you could always have the old Salvation Army hymn, "Fight the Good Fight"
We suggested this one to our daughter - we got one of those old-fashioned looks - you know the kind I mean...
Ringfinger - Nine Inch Nails
I remember my wedding as if it were yesterday......
and you know what a rotten day yesterday was.
