zetec weight

I don't know if anyone is interested, but I weighed my 2.0 zetec silvertop, complete with starter, my engine mounts (originals removed), alternator, clutch, gearbox, driveshafts, instruments and engine loom, all rubber hoses that fit to the engine and the water header tank, E.g. as I will use it in my midi. No inlet or exhaust manifold though, came in at 188 kg using a pair of salter scales. The scales agree on my weight (87 kg) to within 1 kg of the reading I get on the 'proper' scales at my local leise centre.

Regards
Hugh

Well, my bare Toyota 4age 20v is 80kg and my type 9/quaife is 25kg. Cortina m16 caliper 4.7kg + solid disc/hub/upright 9.4kg = 14.1kg, sierra vented disc 4.7 kg+caliper 4.0 kg + upright and hub 4.6kg = 13kg.
