A Donor At Last
Who would have thought buying a donor car would have been so difficult? But after four misses and one scrap man getting there before me I have my car,
a 1998 Ford Scorpio Cosworth, at this very moment winging its way to Aberdeen on the back of a transporter
Now I can take it to bits and get rid of it again

Hopefully, there will soon be a 'new' common donor car that is readily available as the good 'ole Sierra is getting less and less
attractive as a donor (IMHO)
It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

I was looking at this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=140325874919
Then I realised I was being stupid
I think it is all down to cars being FWD now and nobody making bellhousings to convert them. I did speak to Titan a while back but the cost of a one
off was unbelievable.
There is a company in the USA that makes a universal belhousing but it only fits USA cars. We need someone to do the same here.
Cheers

Split rims, interesting, keep the loom and control units. Don't tell me you know something about Scorpio engines, like how to wire Megasquirts
up to them
I have had a U2U from someone else in Portlethen, just across the park from me. Just started his build as well. Three of us in Portlethen must be the
start of a club.

That'll be me in Portlethen as mentioned above. Slowly building but just can't find the time at the moment.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
