which models of sierra are likely to have a pinto in?!?! I am tring to find some 2l donors, but having trouble... I tought they were plentiful?! Presumably an l or an lx model would be the best option to go for...?

2.0 litre Sierras (and Granadas)up to G reg had pinto's, after that they were DOHC.

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Get the cheapest you can ,any model as you will be throwing most of it away anyway. You don't need the electric windows or central locking for a locost.
