Yeah I’v been thinking about it for a while, just saying hello that is! I am Steve, I have a mate also called Steve!, We are embarking on a project to
build a Locost each.
This is an introduction really (I’m pissed) but we have purchased the welder and angle grinder and are now trying to find donor vehicles
A 2ltr pinto each in the Leeds or north east area if possible, any help would be appreciated. If anyone knows the auctions we should attend (in Leeds)
that would help.
Well this was just a friendly note to introduce ourselves really; we will be on her a lot more in the future I’m sure!

nowadays...
ebay might be your best bet, then at least you get an honest description of the car.

There is also the auction beside the M1/M621 - they have quite a few cheap cars in their evening sales. Easy enough to do both auctions in the same
evening if one doesn't have what you are looking for.

I only just remembered I put this message on here last night! Oh the joys of beer.
JoelP - Iv been to the scrappies on cross green ind est, so I should find premiere auctions no problem. What time should I get down there for the
Banger night you mentioned? And yeah I keep scouring e-bay. I’m in the Hyde Park (student) area of Leeds. Some of the build will be done nr Richmond
at Steve’s home up swale dale or my (parents) home just off Scotch Corner roundabout.
Spunky - Yeah you can see where my head's at after a few beers!!
Andyps - Ill try to chase this one up too, are there (banger) sales here each night or is this a Thursday too?
Does anyone know what the going rate for a pinto sierra is (un-roadworthy but running)?
Further info, Steve might have got a scrap sierra to rob bits from, it’s got no engine or box but the rest of its there so could get him started
Cheers for the help

Not too far away are Simpson Salvage where Sierras are currently about £70. They deliver for about £30.

I think the auction I mentioned is Monday and Wednesday evening, but I can't remember properly. They are in Yellow pages - give them a quick
call.
Try the non banger nights at Premier too - they can be cheaper because people don't go for the really cheap cars on those nights. I bought my
donor J reg sierra with 4 or 5 months MOT for £130 - 2 lt GLS with alloys. Goes really well, really too good to scrap, but I will anyway!
