UK Seirra axle width & USA equal?
Most UK builders & vendors reference the Ford seirra as a possible standard for chassis design. I can't find out how wide this is hub to hub
for the rear diff and the USA donor equal. I am planning on using a book chassis width with wide track A arms purchased from a vendor like GTS or CMC
(don't trust my MIG skills on the A arms).

Greetings both of you
I'm afraid I don't know if the Murkur (sp?) has the same track as the European Sierra but I'd imagine it probably does. As I
understand it it's an XR4i with the 2.3 turbo in it.

I just measured my 1982 Corolla wagon rear axle, and it measures 50.5" from the back of one drum to the other.
From lugnuts to lugnuts, it is 57".
Maybe somebody could help the original postor out, and measure their Sierra axle?
Or, if anybody else has any other axles they have used, you could measure those too? Having a list of axle widths may be helpful to some.

That's what I'm looking for. I would like this for pre planning chassis width and track width and all.
Thank you in advance!
