Registration papers Super 7

Dear locost builders,

I'm Mark Post from the Netherlands. My new project a GBS Zero.

For this project I looking for rigistration papers from a Super 7 like kitcar. Why? Because Dutch Tax system.
I pay a lot of tax when i want to registrate the car in the Netherlands.

When I buy reigsitration papers in the UK the car is older so I pay less tax.

Does someone now maby a Kitcar with a lot of damage or maby only the papers en plates.

Which papers do I need to export a car to the Netherlands??

I hope this message is understandable for you guys.

Hi Mark,

What youre describing, is called "Ringing" here in the UK, and is illegal practice.

ETA: However, if you were to export an accident damaged car, then thats another story.

As said, what you're describing would land any UK accomplice with a possible custodial sentence. Be very carefull what you ask for! If you intend to buy just the registration document (V%) and a set of VIN plates, then that's naughty. If you buy a complete but rough car to use as the 'donor' that is still illegal. If you buy a cheap car and then rebuild it using like for like parts (who can check this??!!) then thar should be OK.

Okay, thanks for your advice, only the papers is then no option. It's also illigal in the Netherlands but i see it often with suzuki 4x4 cars.

But then i search for a damage car i think. In the UK its illigal but I export the car to the Netherlands and then "rebuild" it.

But If i see a wrecked kitcar what do i need for papers to export this car to the Netherlands?

And do you have webpages in the UK where they sell kitcars or damaged kitcars?

they do look fairly regularly at this and similar forums....besides the continental authority's are getting wise to the practice and i know that the Dutch authority's know that a Dutton sierra cannot be made into a "7" style car, they have rejected several recently (i have Dutch friends)
