Which corollas have 4age engines?
I know the Mk1 MR2's had 4age powerplants, but they tend to get lots of attention on ebay etc. Does anyone know which Corollas (besides the AE92
GTi) also came with 4age's?

Hi Indi,
Take a look at the following link for info on the 4AGE...... Phil Bradshaw
Phil Bradshaw is a mine of info on these engines.
You could also try contacting Martin Keenan as the last time I spoke to him he had 2 4AGE's sat in his workshop that he was trying to get rid
of.
7 out of 10 people suffer with hemorrhoids. Does that mean the other 3 enjoy them?

Thanks, Paul, I will try MK - I've already seen photos of the welding they did on someone's 4age plenum to get it under the bonnet of a
Locost. I'm planning to try and get the whole injection, loom and ECU in, and if he's got all that I'll be banging on his door
asap.

Ever fitted a 4Age with injection?
I really appreciate the feedback (here and U2U). I've found an engine for sale out of the original car (a bonus - I get the whole loom).
Now what I'd like to know is - has anyone ever fitted a 4Age with the original loom and injection plenum? And am I mad to try? :-)

You can do it if you don't mind making a very large bulge in your bonnet.
The best thing to do is to cut a pie shaped section out of the ali plenum and fold it over, then have it welded tight.
Edit - Take a look at THIS site... Custom intake plenum on a 4age...

Don't RAW use the standard plenum then? if they don't, what do they use?
Cheers,
Chris.

Re RAW, Mel has talked about modifying plenums or getting someone to fabricate a low-profile one, but he generally installs Webers and a new ECU given
the chance (the Raw site has more details).
BTW, I umm'ed and ahh'd, and then suddenly the prices of MR2s and Corolla GTi's on eBay tripled! I blame Raw's advertising
campaign. Hey-ho. Finally found a tuned x-flow (on this site) and went for that instead. Anything for an easy life! Also, had to consider my
wife's imminent unhappiness, if I tried to strip *another* car on the drive
