Free to a good home - the oily-bits from a Ford Sierra

Hi All,

Sadly, I've had to concede defeat and my long-running Haynes Roadster dreams have been knocked on sharply on head. Consequently all the donor bits and pieces that I've collected over the past couple of years (and which are now simply taking up space) are up for grabs, free, to anyone that can come and pick them up and, hopefully, use them.

The bits I have are as follows:

2.0 Litre Ford SOHC (Pinto) - will need a full re-build. The engines' ignition system isn't complete so some parts will need to be sourced elsewhere. I've not had the head off so I've no idea what condition the cylinders are in but it will need a new camshaft, followers etc. The engine came from a colleague who'd taken it from a non-runner quite some time ago...

The following bits came from a 1.6 1983 3-door Sierra that hadn't run for some time:

Steering Column with, ignition barrel and key.
Steering Rack
Wiring Loom with fuse box (no fuses)
Two piece prop shaft
Drive shafts (pair)
Diff
Type E 4 speed gearbox
Various brackets inc. engine mounts

All of these parts will need some sort of renovation but I don't know how much of it is economically repairable (I haven't opened the engine so this is a bit of a gamble to be honest).

I'm located just outside the North Wales town of Mold so, if you're interested, let me know...

Cheers,

Graeme
