Looking at an automatic 2.0l mondeo as a doner to mate to a type 9 box
Are there any issues bolting 2.0 black top zetec that originally had an auto transmission to a type 9 gearbox.
I would be getting the whole car so all the bolt on bits could follow too.
I was just wondering if this was viable or I should only look at the manual options.....
Cheers chaps

Engines are identical. And things like flywheel and starter that may be different on an auto get changed anyway even when using a manual donor.

Crank position housing needs changing for a manual. Other than that your good to go.

Isn't that in the flywheel?

Zetec spigot goes in the crank. It's drilled ready.
For some strange reason the St170 comes with one ready fitted but it isn't used in the Focus.
