Type 9 Gear lever?
Any suggestions where I can get a type 9 gear level. Are there quick shift versions avaliable? Am I just as well going to the scrappies and using an
old one? I have a type 9 box plus a remote lever extention

The Dave Andrews mod really works, and costs nothing - I incorporated it into my remote shift.
One caution - after making the mod, don't cut your gearlever too short as you lose a bit of leverage. I did, and had to extend it by a couple
of inches!

Thanks for the link guys. Thats a great easy looking mod. I did something similar on my old Golf that worked really well (involved welding in a small
spacer but the concept was similar and worked well).
