Mc sorley 7+442 with capri running gear?

Please can i have some advice on my first project,

I intend to use 2ltr Pinto running gear in a McSorley 7+442 however i am still unsure if this is the best option for me

Please can you tell me the pros and cons of my combination .

it will all fit !! if youre using a chassis that big .

my volvo based one is slightly wider than sierra IRS

i assume you need +442 cos you're a big guy? so thats not a choice really. And the pinto is as good an engine as any really, horses for courses. You could argue/discuss engines all day and never find a consensus.

So just go for it, you'll love it!

Is the Capri axle +4" or +2" relative to the escort?
I should know- but I've forgotten!

If it's +2" then you'll need extra-narrow arches and might have a problem with the trailing arms hitting the wheels.

If it's +4" then you're ok but be prepared for maybe harder work when sourcing your bodywork with a wider chassis.
