Ok everyone the donor stripping is underway.
got an xr4x4 is the engine worth anything(im doing BEC) it seems ok to me quite quiet just needs a setting up Id say!
do I need the sierra wiring loom and what do I do about an alternator etc any info tips appreciated.
I know the main things to take off etc
take it I use the sierra brake servo master cylinder...
as above really anyhelp would be great so I can get started

I watched Ebay to see how much the bits left over from mine will fetch, £25 gearbox, maybe the same for the engine so the effort of pulling it apart
means that once I have all the bits off mine its going to scrap (that is unless anyone wants a 4x4 Sierra without rear axle and column for free).
I,m keeping it until the cars nearly complete, even if its just for light bulbs.

id ditch the lot, just keep the column switches and about 6inches of wire off each. The bike engine will have its own alternator.
It really isnt worth 2 or 3 hours of your time getting the engine out and sold, unless you love getting filthy.

Brake servo master cylinder aint much use unless you're going ABS.

are you sure? i though the abs was a seperate unit? Maybe mine was before abs... i definately sold a MC off an f reg 4x4!

Sold the cologne v6 and gearbox in mine for £100. not bad considering the car cost £6.50
