Ford Escort MK2!!!!
Well I have looked looked and looked and I can not seem to find an MK2 for a good price.
Where is the best place to look for them or to get them from.
Or is it a better idea just to get all the parts sepratly?

You will have a job finding a complete car nowadays.
You will find loads of mk2 steering racks on eBay.
I take it you need a 1300 xflow engine. They also come up on eBay quite often.
What gearbox are you limited to? 4 speeds or 5 speeds are both quite common on eBay as well.
The rear axle is the hardest item to find. But as before, keep an eye out on eBay and on here.

Is it road worthy or would I need a traylor to get is back.
I have a engine and 5 speed gear box, but I would like a 4speed but thats fine for now.
So do you think that I should buy all the bits in parts or get a whole car?
thanks

isn't the Cortina MkII exactly the same? Might have some luck there. The old rwd Hyundai Pony uses an axle the same as a mkII Cortina if you
folks ever got them.

Seriously, unless you find a 1300GT or Ghia for sensible money (which is rather unlikely nowadays I'm afraid) you're wasting your time and
money looking for a Mk2 Escort. The Ghia and GT are pretty much complete donors for a 750MC car (carb/engine/box/axle) any other Escort isn't
and is going to mean buying things like carb and maybe engine - so cut out the middle man and just buy the stuff you need instead!.
All the right stuff comes up on ebay on a regular basis and buy a copy of Classic Ford, the adds in there are usualy a goldmine - believe me it will
probably actualy work out cheaper in the long run!
