Is a Golf heater the same as a Polos?
A guy at work is scrapping a MkII golf 1600 driver. It sprobably a stupid question but does this share the same heater as the polo?
If not is it any use for putting into my Avon?

No
With the golf heater the fan is mounted below the glove box, probably not suitable.
The polo has an intake in the Plenum below the windscreen and is more compact more suitable for a 7.

...and unless it's already happened to a previous owner and been replaced, mk2 golf matrices have a tendency to burst and spray steaming water
all over your toes, which is nice. There was a recall for these, but not that many got done.
