Donors Fate?
What exactly do with my donor car after I have stripped of more or less everything i need?.
The only thing thats gonna be left from my donor is the bodyshell complete with panels, interior but minus wheels engine axles etc etc.
I know that it is quite difficult to get a scrapy to come and take them off your hands now. Destroy it with a grinder? then dump the scrap metal?
Any ideas?

Have a look in Yellow Pages for scrap metal dealers, rather than scrap cars dealers.
There is one near Ipswich (Seckers) that will take almost any kind of metal, and may even pay you a little money for it! (especially if you make an
effort to separate the steel from the plastic, rubber, etc)
Worth a try!

no problem at all for a car scrappy to take it away.
just get one that has a flatbed truck and crane on it. recon most have to take the burnt out joyrides away.
the one i used charged 50 quid and even told me to fill it up with crap if I wanted!
some people cut it up and take it to a dump, but I recon thats hard work. Also in northants they are very sensitive as to what you dump at their
public facilites which is why so many people dump stuff in country lanes

I know a guy who works for the council removing abandonded cars with a flatbed and crane. £20 in his pocket seems to work and I always fill the boot
with crap aswell.
