beginner question

hi to all... i am relatively quiet new here... and inspired by people here have finalised on building one locost for my self too...

as i live in asia i have a big problem regarding donors... dont have any rwd cars here... almost.. furthermore there is no question of donor herer caz even 25 30 year old rwd rollas are sold for quiet a much...

so the only possible way is to source out individual parts..
a frnd has a 4age 20v spare lying with him and is willing to give me at throwaway price... so i have planned to look for a t50 (ae86) trannyand ae86 rwd rear live axle....
the first problem now is front suspension... uprights!!!!... well the best i can find is i think toyota liteace front uprights.... will they be OK? and how should i design the front wishbones for them..
thanks for reading this long crap...

I think I'm right in saying the Cortina uprights were reused in the Hyundai Stellar?? There might be a few of those knocking about in your corner of the globe...

Have fun and keep us updated anyway...

Cheers
