Looks goos to me.
Will you be swappingthe engine for a bigger one?
Have you heard of the Kougar sports (a Jag based Kit car, no longer made)?

Just out of interest

The interior looks nice and tidy considering the outside. Apart from the lack of drivers seat of course.

Your car should be a rare beasty.

Hmm 2.9, that's the v12 cut in half so it may be exploring the possibility of bolting the gearbox on a proper engine.

NB, having owned a number of jags in the past the 4.0 manual XJS I had was the fastest of the lot, 3.6 manual was pants compared to it, V12 was so smooth but simply could not keep up with an auto box.

Regards Mark

The back axle/diff is a beast of a thing on these, seriously weighty, if you are determined though it might be worth trying to mate sierra shafts (going IRS?) in order to keep the diff.
The 2.9 engine (sorry to be blunt) was not the best of the bunch, I would be looking for an aj6/16 engine (they are cheap enough to buy these days and tough as old nails) although I'm not sure they would mate to the gearbox you have? Although if it is the getrag box it is reputedly a good thing.
It might be possible to use the front uprights though (big disks and calipers) and make your own wishbones to suit?

Anyway best of luck with it.

Cheers
