Steering Rack
I'm trying to stick to book but using MK1 capri - was the steering rack different enough to the Escort to cause me a problem? will I need any
mods to wishbones? and is it only the cortina uprights I can use? do I have much of a choice if I want to keep things simple?
all advice always aprpeciated. Thx

If you have cortina uprights, or can find a set, i would go for them over sierra ones for 3 main reasons:
They are lighter
They look better
The geometry of the upright is more suited to double wishbones
As for the steering rack, the crapi one was a bit wider than the escort one if i remember rightly - this will cause bump steer issues. Rally design do
a quick ratio rack for about £60 i think.
