cheers craig, that sites a blinder! Must be the one that my mate got the idea from. He reckons he once had the exhaust manifold glowing a dull orange
around the turbo! I believe mines a 95M vitesse sport, 200bhp standard, i was handbraking it in Nov 2001 in the snow, and eventual screwed up and
cracked an alloy, never managed to find a replacement (it 17" so its in someones drive way all this time! Perfect donor.
How would it affect the weight dist if i used it as a transverse rear engine? would all be a bit far back me thinks, but i could leave the g box alone
at least. Main trouble would be a remote gear linkage.
Any ideas?!

Have a look at the Shelsley T2 - a mid engined kit using the Rover T series turbo engine. It may give some ideas.
