Alfa 145 2.0 Cloverleaf donor?

Just bought myself a new motor and have this car "spare", too good to scrap but worth peanuts if i sold it. Thinking of using in a Locost build but wondered if anyone had used same/similar donor and encountered any issues as my skills are only "moderate" really.

I'm not sure what gearbox readily fits up to that. Type 9 with adapted bell housing probably would.

Don't the 2.0 alfa engines suffer timing belt and tensioner issues at 80 - 100k miles? It would have the right exhaust note though!

I love Alfas and have owned a few, but the TS motor is a dud, it suffers almost everything, but worst of all is a flexible block.

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
