new here whats this lot worth

Lotus 7 copy kit, (believed a locost). Chassis, new powder coated front wishbones and joints, uprights and disc brakes, modified ford rear axle with drum brakes and diff, ford single rail gearbox, propshaft, Alloy petrol tank, 6 x RS2000 alloy wheels with tyres, steering rack, rollover bar, nose cone and mould.


This is a ad i have seen can you good people out there give some advise and a price you would pay for it second hand once i get some price for you guys i will tell you what this guy wants for it many thanks

probably wouldn't pay more than a grand - but then i'm tight.

Other things worth considering:

are parts assembled?
quality of chassis - is it exactly standard (makes buying other parts easier)
is the gearbox a four speed only?
what bits do you need to get?

You see rolling chassis on here and ebay for less than a grand that have an engine included for instance.

Good luck with the deal - whatever, it'll be fun to drive!!

Have a look in the for sale section - a £500 package not sold yet - may be worth the drive up north!!

If its the bits advertised on findit at £500 it doesnt look bad. But best thing is to go and have a look, or maybe see if any local builders would take a look as well.
