engines donors n stuff

Hi, there just scoting round to get the required bits and pieces I know that there were loads of variations of the Sierra. Some of the bits I have seen I cant tell what Sierra they were from i.e. diffs?? The last kit I built had little metal lugs on the axle do the Sierra diffs or is there a way of identifing the ratios??
I m off to look at a Sierra on Tuesday but there are no badges on it to identify the model waht are the benefits between the type9 and the mt75 box and how do you identify the two of them??
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Kev

t9 reverse is top left, mt is bottom right on the gear stick, thinks thats the easiest way to tell them apart.

Cheers

Diff codes

There's a sticky at the top of the Engine & Transmission forum that lists the part numbers for each type of diff, etc..
