Just a rebadged 2.0, sadly nothing exciting, certainly donor wise.

It is a real 4i, just not the V6.

The 4i was a 3 door v6 made between 83 and 85 before being replaced he the 5 door v6 (and I4 2.0) xr4x4. The 5door 4i was just done by ford near the
end of the sierra production to sell a few more 2.0s. Apart from the badges and colour coded trim its just another 2.0.
Not arguing its a suitable donor, but its no more or less than any other sierra.
