where to sell your spare doner parts?

Hi all
I have finishing extracting all the parts out of my doner car now and have some spare bits and bobs that I like to sell off. Any good places I can try and flog my goods? I'm trying to avoid ebay if possible. I never had a bad experience from ebay but just never liked it much. Thanks

Depends on what the donor car was and what bits you have..?

I found sierra's bits to be worth bugger all, on here or on ebay......

I couldnt even get £20 for complete sierra back end..Diff/drive shafts/ drum brakes even the rear beam as droped straight from an Moted sierra....See ebay link....

All the best, warren

likewise, if it's not somethingyou or someone else on here needs it's probably junk!

Having said that I got £38 for my Sierra shell, which paid for a new set of discs and pads.

Cheers

I got about £90 back from my Sierra bits selling them on eBay - the best bits were the front bumper and the complete power steering system which got over £30 each.

Well my doner car is a mk2 escort. I was thinking about rally related website since people still use the mk2 escort for rallying. But not sure if the parts I have are worth anything to the rally people since it is mostly cosmetic and interior bits. Maybe the official UK escort forum? Any ideas? Cheers
