Im sure you mean XR4x4, which used the standard (all Sierras except Cosworth used the same size) 253mm rear disc.

The 4x4 ghia had solid discs and i think the xr4x4 had vented discs so the calipers are also different - worth checking to see which ones you have.

No xr's or standard sierra's were fitted with vented rears.

Only the cosworth 4x4 (sierra/escort) and granny cosworth had 273mm vented rears (granny being 5 stud remember)

First step is to establish what you've got - xr4i (2.8) xr4i (2.0) xr4x4 2.0/2.8/2.9

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Why do you want bigger heavier brakes? You don't need them.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
