Fiesta Mk2 Calipers on Sierra Rear Hubs??

Probably a bit out of left field but....

I gather that the Sylva R1OT uses Sierra rear calipers on Fiesta XR2 front uprights.

If I didn't want a mechanical handbrake (i.e. car not for road use) would you be able to do the revese and fit Fiesta front Calipers to Sierra rear hubs?

I need to do some research on the size and weight of calipers to see if there might be any weight benefits, but I just like the idea of doing something different.

If you dont need an mot friendly handbrake, use bike calipers and disks, don't know of anything lighter. I used cbr600 front disks on home made ally bells with RGV250 calipers, which fitted nicely under 15"rims.
If your running 13" rims you will need much smaller disks. Use a line lock for a handbrake, not MOT friendly, but very effective.

Is that at the front that you used the bike callipers or rear?
