Mk II common parts
I have an 1979 Escort powered locost with a 1300cc engine. Does anybody know what common parts like points, front disk pads and rear shoes, brake and
master cylinder overhall kits are shared with other Fords or?? Parts for this car are hard to find in the States. So I thought if I had a list of
other cars the Ford dealer might have an easier time crossreferencing parts for me, Tks Russ ps: its 100deg F ( 38deg C) here here in the central
United States today.

Shared parts
The front brakes are shared with Cortina and Capri over here. Not sure about the rears but I think the same applies.
I can't help with the cylinders biut I bet if you speak to an automtive parts supplier they will be able to reference them through supplier
manuals.

For engine bits try Ford Cortinas, some Ford Capris and Pintos. For rear brake bits the Cortina is a possibility as well. As well from Canada Hyundai
Pony parts *might* fit. I've got a rear axle and it looks identical to a friend Ford Cortina MKII axle.
