Didn't the Cosworth have a T5?

Edit: MT75 also found in Sapphire/Escort Cosworth 4wd so maybe where that thought comes from.

I stand to be corrected though

Think so ? Burton power would also sujest so.

Described that way on ebay, Not worth extra tho. Sent a good one to the scrap yard last friday as ebay prices where not worth my time removing and listing it.imho

All 4x4 cosworths had MT75 box, beg to differ on the limits though, ma development's escort had a dyno proven 406 hp/403 lb/ft of torque on a standard box. the car (K44 ACE) done over 4 years of trackdays/drag racing/general abuse by various mag's etc without breaking !
car was good for 3.92 0-60 iirc (it's why i had mine tuned by him) expensive but worth it, i used to eat evo's/scoobys for lunch surprised a few 'super'cars as well
hoping to do that in the locost

If it doesn't fit MODIFY it!!
Cheers BriF

Thanks the gearbox is just one of those things that i kept "just incase" along with 6 other gearboxes, 4 engines, 2 mk2 escort axles, 4 steering racks, 2 sierra lsd back ends ,about 20 wheels. Think i will end list there as i am begining to see my wifes point "why are you keeping all that junk"
