does it matter what year of sierra the lower steering shaft comes from as we have a K reg sierra in our yard at the mo it seems to have a arrow head shape clamp at the rack end, NOT the rubber donut style MK indy by the way

I think the power steering ones have a slightly larger diameter splined end than the manual racks, so they may be best avoided.
