Removing wheels

for a 1.6 E reg seirra lx.

got to a point where i need the wheels off. and they won't move. at all.

any ideas? i've stood on the wrench thingy and jumped up and down to no result.

put a pipe on the end of the wrench (steem pipe or thick walled pipe)

you could allso put some wd40 on it and leave it to soke.

tried both of those, and i'm 18 stone, so if it's not moving with my weight on it, i have no idea if they'll move at all

are you turning them the right way? lol

if you turning the right way try hiting the studs with a bar and a lump hammer some times works if not get a biger bar or get you and a friend to jump on the bar.

if all else fails drill the studs out

Heat them.... and definately make sure you are trying to undo them....

yeap, id heat them, and also whack the wheel for good measure. and obviously make sure its anti clockwise!

easy way to heat fast is to weld something small on the end, probably more effective then a blow torch. make sire you dont obscure the nut.

job done, thanks all, i eventually ended up getting my family to sit on the car, to stop the wheels turning on the ground and jumping on the wrench lots
