pinto engine number location

Hi all,

I friend of mine is having a bit of trouble locating the engine number on his 1.8 pinto. Does anyone know where on the block should it be stamped??

Cheers

Chris

if he still has the donor chassis number, IF IT'S THE ORIGINAL ENGINE, the last 2 letters and following numbers of the chassis number are the engine number.
