What gearbox will a 1.8 cvh sierra have?
Been offered one for £50 but im not sure if its an mt75 or a type 9 fitted to these cars?

Should be a Type 9, the twin cam had the mt75
|

Last one I broke had a type 9.

yes should be a type 9. You can check, if the reverse position is top left it's a type 9.
I belive the MT75 is bottom right.
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

I've had 3 sierras with CVH all of which had type 9's, as pete said the DOHC later sierra deffinatly had the MT75.

All 1.8 CVH's had type 9's, I am not sure about the handful of 1.6 CVH's that were made at the very end of production. These are the
holy grail as (please check) they has the same block as the 1.6 RS Turbo
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
