Seasonal Affective Disorder??
hi there, with the winter months looming and telling the wife I suffer from SAD, I've purchased a nice lillte project to see me through until
Spring (I hope).
It's a Locost built to RC's book with a 1600 crossflow, the plan is to take out the crossflow and slide it in to my Anglia (This was going
to have a ZX12R Engine although the car was to good so I've decided to go retro) with a bike engine going into the Locost!! My first concern is
the IVA, registration etc. How will I go about making sure I'm able to get a V5? There's all sorts of goodies that I want to buy although
I want to make sure it will all be compliant when I come to IVA the vehicle, all help is much appreciated

For IVA you'll need a reverse with a bike engine. I'd be tempted to keep the xflow in the car until after IVA (thereby getting round the
need for reverse and an cat emssions test (depending on the age of the bike engine)...

First of all Burt welcome.
Your question(s) are far reaching. You need to download a copy of the IVA manual from this site in the IVA section. This will tell you all about the
IVA requirements which are too many to distill into a single post.
Best to digest the manual and ask questions on specifics to seek clarity.
Welcome again and enjoy.

Do I still need a donor vehicle with a V5 to use?

It depends if you want an age related plate?
I for example am going for a Q plate as I secured items from multiple sources.
