Hi
I have a strting problem with my R1 2007 (AC8). It fires up and runs as long as the startingbutton is hold down, and stops when you let go... Any

I had this issue with my 06 R1 when first wiring it up. It ended up being the starter solenoid was hooked up the wrong way round, and not latching
when the engine was running. As soon as i swapped the big wires round and tried again it ran fine :-)

The tip over sensor is mounted in wrong position the 2 mounting bolt holes need to be vertical with up mark facing skywards

I had this problem just the other week with an 05 R1.
With Malc's help the problem was identified as the lean angle sensor - I replaced the sensor with a 470ohm resistor as indicated on the website

Stays running now.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for all the answers!
The lean angle sensor is not the problem (i think) because i have made this mod to it like Triggerhappy. I had it conected when i did it, and when you
tilted it, the instrument showed an error witch was the lean angle sensor... The starter solenoid is an untested thing, so that could be the answer,
but i'm not sure. If i change the cabels at starter solenoid the feulpump does not start when you turn the key...

Update on my problem!
I conected an fuelpressure meter today, and found out that i have only 0,5kg fuelpressure!
I have the standard R1-07 fuelpump at the rear of the car, and a singel fuelpipe to the rail. Is there anyone out there who drives with this config?
"All" of you who drives with R1 -07, how have you made fueling system?
Best regards Henrik

This is my first post and a sad one at that! I have a 2007 R1 powered midi that I am building with the exact same problem! I switched the relay and it
won't fire at all, yet before it would run just with the starter!
So ill be keeping a close eye on this thread as its a bit early for me to worry about the motor running. I need to get some bits finished and paint
the frame. All I know is when I pulled it out of the bike it ran fine.
Best of luck and hopefully the same answer will have both of our motors running!
