Mitsubishi Evo's
Has anyone done anything radical with an EVO? Any kits using them as donor cars?
I only ask as my brothers car is not selling and he's about to break it... damn shame as he's spent a fortune on it in the last 12 months
and it has all the right parts. Would make a cracking project car...

Here's an idea.
Local too...

Personally, I think he should find some competition use for it.

Crikey... fair bit of cash been spent on that Fiesta!
Bet it shifts!
I mentioned to him about keeping it as a track-toy, but he needs the cash out of it. I was thinking I might help out by taking it off his hands if
there was a kit conversion available.

Not sure about Evo's, but I'm sure I looked at an Impreza based car at Autosport International a couple of years ago - might not have been
in kit form though.
Unless it's beyond economic preservation there must be a demand for these as track cars, rally cars...?

The Subaru kit was the Adrenaline Murtaya Nick.
As for the car itself... it's absolutely rock solid. Very very tidy! He just can't sell it, hence the thoughts of breaking it.

There is deffo an impreza based kit car, they used to sell through ebay for about 13k, looked a little bit like a fury but larger, can't
remember the name, think it began with an a and was vaguely japanese sounding!

My thoughts too, but he's buying a flat so he needs funds sharp-ish.
If EVO's were my 'thing' then I'd have it off him in a flash.

Adrenalin are definately history - awesome car but based on the Scooby - not the Evo.
Shame to break a nice car like that If he sells the engine - what is the running gear worth to you as a base for a new toy? Junk the steelwork and
drop it into a locost based frame. You may be frowned upon for moving away from the 7-a-like theme though!

That's a real nice looking motor.
A shame too - I'm about to sell my Indy (as soon as the new TD wheels arrive) and I would then have the money to buy the Evo. Problem is I need
the cash.
reckon something like a Fury with the Evo running gear would be a pretty formidable car round a track!

The market's saturated and most of the cars have all the trick bits fitted, so prices are not particularly strong.
If he broke it, then he'd clear £4k+ with the engine and brakes on their own.

my bother in law is starting a locost with an evo 6 motor in it....
the motor was running 460hp before removal.....i think he is looking at the 200sx running gear for transmision....
just because you are a character, doesnt mean you have character....
for all your bespoke parts, ali welding, waterjet, laser, folding, turning, milling, composite work, spraying, anodising and cad drawing....
u2u me for details
