So, anyone else been out in the snow??
I took the oppurtunity last night to break out the Tiger and go absolutely mental in the snow in my farm yard!! I was an hour. Got cold and wet but
didnt care one bit! Power sliding. spinning J-turns etc etc etc
If anyone else can think of how to have more fun at 10 - 20 mph I'd like to hear it 
Anyone else been having fun in the snow (kit car/locost related)

Just drove to work in the L200 as usual, things were very slow I can't figure out why
The empty carpark was fun for 10 minutes....

Snow! What snow? It's 26deg here in Lahore 
Mind you, I think I'd sooner be chopping logs for the fire at home

Well I have to take the Furore F1 to Chelmsford this morning for its DVLA inspection (driving it there). Doesn''t look like being much
fun, we have about 2" of snow at present - no doubt when I get there they'll announce they can't do it due to the weather. Of course
you can't ring them to check anything cos they won't give you a direct line - Great!
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator

I havnt had the locost out yet (on the estate) but i have been having some fun in the tintop. The tyres are pretty badly worn (not quite illegal but
about 2.5mm tread). Been doing lots of drifting and teaching my sister car control in her Yaris by getting her to drive with the handbrake on
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Snow is great for teaching yourself car control. Because it all happens so slowly. (and if you've got somewhere off road to do it) 
Wouldn't advise doing anything fun on the road lol

There's about 18 inches of snow in my street, so that's probably a bit more than is desirable for a wee bit of sliding about,
unfortunately.

we've got nearly the same here (which never normaly happens) but the gritters have left a car and a half wide strip with only 1" -
2" covering it
it would be fun if it wasn't for all the idiots - why do people feel the need to walk down the middle of the road

Ive had loads of drifting in the van.........as I love driving in the snow.
When you drive as much as I do I snow driving is great for the challenge.
12 inches plus is a lot of snow for November

I've had a few funny looks from people driving about in my open top Mahindra Jeep...

Bah! Not snow here yet although it's making a very feable attempt at the moment.
The cold greasy roads are still quite entertaining though, very easy to provoke a little slither off the roundabouts and out of bends particularly
when they tyres are past their best.

Our issue is.
The street is a cul de sac, covered in 18" snow.
The sole route onto it is covered the same.
Likewise, the sole route onto that is also covered with 18" snow.
We're not on a primary or a secondary route.
So, we won't ever see a gritter, end of story.
That's liveable in a normal winter, but not this year.

Up to now no snow here but very cold and great frost. Been driving the Phoenix for the past 3 days with quite a bit on the motorways. A snotty nose
and a sneeze inside your helmet isn't good hey. Also passed an active gritter.. that was some experience
Found a frosty empty car park on my way home though and accidentally skidded in circles

We had a good kicking last year out in the sticks of Wiltshire, just hope it doesn't happen again this year as the damn Disco is still off the
road Running out of ideas on what is wrong with it

I have to admit I see lots of gritters
but then I work next to there nest and live next to the co-op where they buy there pies - the road inbetween is always kept clear

Had my RX8 out which was entertaining, local council seem to ask their staff to do 3 laps of the town hall with the gritter and bugger off for a brew

I have a few mates in the Landrover scene... seems to be alot of heartache and hard work for something so unreliable. However, they wouldn't
change them for anything else in the world.
They say it's a love - hate relationship. I say they are sado masichists!!!
Each to their own though (and i kind of understand the off road thing, kinda fun )

Don't do the offroad thing (intentionally ) but definitely do need the 4 x 4 where we live in winter.
