Omex 500 ecu
anyone running one of these ECU's?? Any good and anything to wary of, I have 2.0 zetec with MT75 box. Cheers

With any old ecu its just worth checking that you can get it mapped and they have the software if your not doing it yourself.

Speak to the Rolling road that you are nearest/Thinking of going to and make sure they can Map it
Quite a popular brand of ECU so you should be fine
Have heard very good things about OMEX customer service *if* you get stuck

Software is available on the Omex website. I think the later 600 version will still work with the 500.

I'm running a 500 series ECU, No prpblems with it. Omex sent me a base map for free and the rolling road had it up and spot on with 2 hrs.
Mine's a ST170 engine but close enough, I'll send you a few maps if you wish?

hi scutter any chance of getting a map from you as im going to do my st170 soon after fitting a rotrex supercharger.im still on standard ford ecu and
it wont work properly.
