Competition car suspension by Allan Staniforth, some on Amazon for less than £16, also some on ebay.
His books are easy to understand and Allan was a well respected engineer in scratch building race cars.
Sadly no longer with us R.I.P.

Fred Puhn and espcially Stanniforths are great, the Des Hamill ones naff in comparison. Stanni's other book Race and Rally Car Data Source book
is also very good

That's brilliant... the one you've found is the 2nd edition and is over £50... click the author's name and find the 4th edition for
£16
I know the 2nd edition might be rare and it might be the best book on the subject but I don't think that mark-up is really justified

The Len Terry & Alan Baker book "Racing Car Design and Development" is worth getting published 1973 but good for our type of
car, sometimes very cheap copies can be found on amazon.
Link to one
copy at 78p !!!
