Replacing Flywhweel
Hi All,
I have removed the original flywheel from my 2.0 Blacktop Zetec and now have a 1.8 flywheel ready to replace it.
Stupidly I went in all gung-ho and didn't make a note of where the missing hole was on the one I have removed. doh!
The engine is at TDC so my question is, what position does the missing hole need to be at when I fit the new flywheel?
Thanks for any help...

On most flywheel the bolt holes are not uniform in spacing, so they will only go on in one place, just try lining up ALL the bolt holes.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Thanks Giant!
Just tried it and you are spot on. Yet another locoster helps me of a tight spot caused by me being a muppet!

Remember to lighten it.
Then you get a "New engine"

Soren I don't have the funds to lighten it unfortunately. Reason for the 1.8 flywheel is because it is lighter than the 2.0 one it replaced.
Cheers anyway.
