Sierra Upright Modifications

Does anyone know if MK/GTS will modifiy Sierra uprights if you're not building an Indy or GTS Locost? Failing that, does anyone know the measure of the taper that they need to be modified to in order to accomodate a Cortina ball joint?

Cheers guys,

Chris.

Hi Chris,

I'd be happy to modify them for you. Two snags, we are closed now until the 16th August, and the postage costs to and from Newcastle would be quite a lot.

Kind regards,

Darren (GTS)

Wow, Darren that was quick. I'll check out the postage costs between here and Kent in the next week or so. What's the cost for having them modded?

Thanks,

Chris.

I've found this website;

parcels 2 go

very handy for competitive priced shipping of heavier items.

Chris,

You could stip the hubs/bearing out to lighten them up a bit.

Cheers guys, thanks for the suggestions. Just out of interest, does anyone know what's involved in the machining process? Could I do it at home and if so what would I need?
