Self destructing rear windows?
Went to godfather's for a bbq, someone comes in a says rear window has popped on our Espace (2007).
Nice area, so no-one believes it was malicious so that means at did it all by itself.
Anyone else heard of this?
Cheers and ATB

Yes all it takes is a tiny crack in the wrong place and a sudden change in temperature.

Had a driverside window go in an old fiat panda. Sitting on the drive and just 'exploded'.

A bloke in Wickes car park put some timber in his Fiesta and then shut the back door and popped the window almost clean out on a long piece
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

When I worked for Peugeot, we had a couple of heated rear screen explode for no apparent reason.

The previous shape Megane was a bugger for this. A mate had one of the Renault Sport models, went through 3 rear screens in 6 months so he sold it.
