Hi Nick. If you can get to Bridgnorth I used to use Brian Wilkes Motors tel. 01746761264. He is about a mile out of Bridgnorth on the Telford road.
Always very good with the Westfield and does historic vehicles and ex military vehicles as well.

I have taken my car to Wilkes in Bridgnorth for the last 15 years, they are family friends but Brian has a new tester and to be brutally honest he is
a complete know it all and tries to impress you with BS stories of MOT horror stories, added to the fact the guy looks like he needs a good clean with
a jet wash has made me switch to Madeley testing station. i deal a little with them workwise and they are fair and proficient.
They have MOT'd for me
Trackday 205 stripped and caged etc
Formula 27
GTS panther
Pug 206
Pug 405
BMW 335i
VW Passat
Added to this they have a specialty bay that deals with a lot of GT-R's and other modded jap stuff so there is always something to gawp at
whilst your waiting

I use Van beeks in Donnington. He is expensive at £50 an MOT but has always been fair with me and let me adjust things there and then and also lets me
help on the MOT. If you run an LSD diff he cant do the brake test so goes out with a gauge in the passengers seat to do it.
He wont let it thru if its not right but he will take care of the car (well he does for me).
Sorry about my spelling, im an engineer and only work in numbers.
