differences (and another silly question)
what is the mechanical difference between the MK 1 and 2 escorts and all the other vertions????
what is it about me that makes me look like i know what im doing????

MK1 & 2 Escorts are both RWD all escorts after are FWD.

MK1 escort uses a lot of old IMPERIAL threads, that are different to the Mk2 Escort 
Such as the steering rack tie rods, sierra balljoints dont fit on mk1 but they fit on mk2. Simply cos Ford upgraded to metric
