I should know better!

I have been trolling ebay recently, and am quite surprised at the number of Maserati Biturbo's selling for less that a grand, OK, the bodies are rough, and the interiors a little shabby.....you know what is coming next!

Has anyone considered using one of these as a donor, OK. its 3x the price of a suitable sierra, but must have possibilities

You don't need the body, the shabby interior would give plenty of leather to trim a locost. A fabulous drive train. Only one thing to say - go for it, at least then you can tell me from experience to not do it
