horn not working
Hi All,
not posted for a while, road car giving grief, another story, anyway took kit for mot today, failed on horn not working, and emisions, did not take my
sva paperwork to prove test spec, have checked horn on bench all ok, reconnected to kit, can hear relay clicking, have checked wiring, all ok to
sierra drgs, any other checks I can do before buying new relay from fords etc, thanks

not 100% with car looms but bikes have a live feed to the horn and the switch is the earth

just rewire it
two ways...
take a cable from your ignition switched live to your horn button
from the horn button to the +ve on the horn
from the -ve on the horn to earth
or
cable from switched live to +ve on horn
from -ve on horn to horn button
from horn button to earth
you dont need a relay for it, mine works fine without anyway
