Xflow oil pump variants
I’m considering adding an oil cooler to my 1600GT Xflow.
Currently the shortest oil filter only just clears the bottom chassis rail so there is no room to add a sandwich takeoff plate.
I read recently that there is a variant of the Ford oil pump (make for Capris) that mounts the oil filter at an angle rather than straight down. This
might give me the extra clearance I need.
Does anyone know if these are still available?

No idea of the part or if it's still available.
Someone like https://www.burtonpower.com/ should be able to advise you on what's available for Ford
engines. Quite possibly supply the part as well.

sounds like a remote oil filter kit would work, would allow you to fit a nice big filter and have extra oil in the hoses plus locate the filter in a
easy location for access.
Fame is when your old car is plastered all over the internet
