Short term insurance

While looking for short term motorcycle insurance, I found this.

Would be useful for driving home the donor, you cant use this scheme to tax the car though.

Anyone know of a similar thing for motorcycles? I only need to go for an MOT down the road. Its not worth hiring a van to drive 2 miles.
