Well John, either Oxo or Bisto do an onion gravy! Granules in a jar.

Or, chop up required amount of onion, fry off gently until it goes transparent and goes nice and brown (the browner the tastier).
Drain off oil, then make ya gravy, adding the onions to the mix for the last minute or so of cooking.

Failing that, next time I'm at t'shops I'll look out for ya and pick ya a jar up!

HTH Fozzie

Bisto do it in the cardboard jar type affairs, i bought it by mistake thinking it was the regular, but pretty damn tasty on bangers and mash.

Ahhh Bisto!!

Failing that, make it yourself, as fozzie says make sure the onions are nice and brown when frying.

I think there's quite a lot that you wont get AN answer on...

Bike engine or Car engine
Live Axle or IRS

etc, etc, etc.

But you'll probably always get AT LEAST one answer!
