mx5 donor for Westfields
Just got my new Evo mag and there is a small piece in there to say that Westfield have just released a new kit based on 1.6 mx5 donor.
Old fords must be getting thin now.

Had a good look at it when last at the Factory, they'd just finished it
They've made a Very good job of it and the Mazda Dash etc fits very well
We got the scales out whilst we were there and it weighed 555kgs if i remember right

I knew they'd do a good job of it. Article says £6000 + donor though

I notice that they sell a starter kit including chassis, wishbones and body for £2250.
This is much the same as MK or GTS ask for similar sets of parts. I think a Westfield could be built as a sort of Locost.

I'm going to be building one of the full kits at work. I think it's going to be a really interesting comparison to my own Locost, although
knowing my boss it'll end up with stupid amounts of horsepower before long and I'll never keep his car in sight.

Disclaimer - yes, our shop will become a dealer if the kit is up to par.
